Kinkaku-ji Temple (Temple of the Golden Pavilion)
A Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan. The temple is surrounded by a pond and Muromachi period style gardens. The temple is known as one of the 17 World Cultural Heritage sites in Kyoto.

- Keihan Main Line Kyobashi Station: take the limited Express (tokkyu) bound for "Demachiyanagi" at track #2.
- Sanjyo Station (45 minutes); change to the Kyoto City Bus , Sanjyo Keihan Mae Stop Bus # 59 bound for "Yamagoe Nakacho" to Kinkakuji Mae stop (29 minutes) or No,12 bound for "Ritsumeikan University Mae" to Kinkakuji Mae Stop (38 minutes)
Higashiyama Area World Heritage
Historically known as a cultural epicenter of Japan in the 15th Century, the Higashiyama Area is home to the Kiyomizu Temple, Gion and other World Heritage sites.

- Keihan Main Line Kyobashi Station: take the limited Express (tokkyu) bound for "Demachiyanagi" at track #2 to Shijo Station (42 minutes) or Sanjo Station (44 minutes)
Nijo Castle World Heritage
A flatland castle in Kyoto, the Nijo is comprised of the Ninomaru Palace, the Honmaru Palace, extensive gardens with tea houses and groves of cherry trees.

- JR Osaka Loop Line (In-Loop) Osaka Jo Koen Station to Osaka Station. (9 minutes); change line JR Kyoto Line, take Shinkaisoku (Special Rapid Service) at track #8 to Kyoto Station (28 minutes). Change line: JR Sanin Main Line bound for "Sonobe" to Nijyo Station (5 minutes) and walk 3 minutes.
